Good morning/day/evening my dear readers!
Today I prepared a very short (text wise) post with a lot of photos from my previous trip around Lithuania, my country.
On the last day of spring, me and my family and my godmother’s family went to Prienai: a really tiny resort city in the south/central part of Lithuania. This town is famous for its newly built harmony park ( it’s website http://www.harmonypark.lt/en/news/ ). For a second year in a row, the park held it’s now annual family day celebration. There was a concert with a couple Lithuanian music stars as well as traditional musicians with Lithuanian cultural heritage: country songs and dances, free games for kids, food and souvenir shops. The activity I enjoyed the most was an opportunity to watch a horse-jumping competition. It was super interesting, so I spend around 2.5 hours by a hippodrome.
Overall, I would state that this celebration was a perfect way to spend my Saturday. I got to spend time with my family and relatives, enjoyed beautiful nature and did something interesting all at once. But enough of that, see it for yourself:
